Prophetstown may be a small town, but we think big! We are committed to a strong, progressive community, and work together to achieve goals. While some communities have lost their roots, Prophetstown remains true to the hallmarks of small town life: Friendly, caring people … established local institutions and businesses … pride in well maintained homes and offices, schools, city facilities and parks … and a strong faith community.
The fabric of life in this small town is a rich and varied tapestry. You’ll find businesses and services beyond your imagination, and many health care needs can be met locally. Students thrive in solid educational programs offered here, and college-level courses and technical training are conveniently located nearby. Prophetstown is particularly proud of its industrial base, providing jobs in trade and technical applications.
The people of Prophetstown are not satisfied to stand still: We’re constantly working to improve this community, to make it as good as it can possibly be. In the meantime, we think you’ll agree that Prophetstown is Practically Perfect!
